Normal Day

"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are.  Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart.  Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow.
Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so.  One day I shall dig my nails into the earth,
or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want,
more than all the world, your return."

New Things

Hopefully the weather outside will warm up enough for me to
take interest in my outside plants and herbs.

But for now I am buying new ones for inside life.

There is also a new Etsy shop in the making.
Handmade items, vintage goods, and supplies!

Terarrium Love

Looking forward to starting the new Spring and Summer with some new greens.  Since these beauties have been living since last year, I think I can go larger!  Helpful tips are welcome!

I'm pretty sure my anthem is about new leaves, and being commited to a project start to finish.  This anthem has been revised...I plan to try my darndest, with as much energy as I can muster at the end of the day,  to start a project...and get it at least half finished.  To blog at least half as much as I have in the past...and finish at least one project this year.  Here is to new beginnings!

Fresh Feeling

Finding refreshment is more and more difficult in life, not to mention with days that pass 100 degrees outside.  I am on a hunt, a mission to make my life, home, love, work, and attitude fresh, and new.  Things can get stale so quickly, like the rolls in the breadbox that you swore you just bought this week.  What a task it is to keep things clean, mentally and physically, and exciting.  This week at the store I am revitalizing things, one for instance is the window display and jewelry.
new necklace i made yesterday in our display window

all the work really paid off in the small details

Just the beginning, i hope, of new life in every cobweb corner, and fresh air,
even in the dank basement :)
