Slow and Coming

One day my etsy will have lots of beautiful jewelry, but for now it is slow and coming. Here are my lovely pieces for sale right now.

Buttons Buttons

The days right now feel as though they have been stolen. I love to sleep, but 1am comes so quickly in the evening, where do the nights go? In my fight against sleep I have put together a few necklaces. I am not sure though, if they will make it to etsy (designbyjen.etsy.com). I still have a few modifications to make, and i have to manage the strength to part with them. The colorful buttons give me this feeling of warmth, of being in awe of the tiny things in life that we have forgotten to admire and take in. Since you have read all my thoughts till now, take a minute to let me know if I should continue to tweak the buttons buttons project :)

Ocracoke Island

I can't believe what therapy this island is. I worry much less, enjoy the weather though hot, love the sand and seashells (which i've collected many) and just treasure the time with my husband. I know vacations themselves are supposed to be low stress, the low key environment here makes stress impossible. I think we will be so sad heading home (and not just because the drive is 9 some hours) because it may be another year before we soak in the amazing ocracoke air again.

These are a couple of pieces for my jewelry collection, which will hopefully begin making an appearance on etsy (designbyjen.etsy.com) after vacation. I am inspired to use objects you wouldnt find as necklaces, and making them into delicate works of art. The quantities will be limited for now, i want them to be treasures and treasured.

Vacation begins in two more days, i cannot wait to return to Ocracoke, it will feel like our honeymoon all over again!!
